1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of relentlessmovingnyc.com and the moving, packing, and storage services provided by Relentless Moving ("we," "us," "our"). By requesting a quote or booking a move, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes and Estimates
- Quotes are based on the information you provide — inventory, addresses, building access, floors, and requested services. Accurate information keeps your quote accurate.
- A confirmed flat-rate quote covers the move as described. Significant changes on move day (additional items, changed addresses, undisclosed access issues) may require a revised quote, which we will present in writing before proceeding.
- Quotes are valid for the move date they are issued for unless otherwise stated.
3. Booking, Deposits, and Payment
- A deposit may be required to secure your move date; deposits are credited toward your final bill.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of the move, before or at final delivery.
- We accept the payment methods stated at booking. Receipts are provided for all payments.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled move.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the move may incur a fee.
- We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability; rescheduling with reasonable notice does not incur a fee.
- In the rare case that we must reschedule (severe weather, safety, or events beyond our control), we will notify you as early as possible and offer priority rebooking or a full refund of any deposit.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate inventory, address, and building-access information.
- Arrange building requirements on both ends — elevator reservations and any management approvals. We provide Certificates of Insurance on request; buildings need them before move day.
- Complete any packing you have chosen to do yourself before the crew arrives.
- Keep valuables, cash, jewelry, medications, and important documents with you — they should not travel in the truck.
6. Items We Cannot Move
For safety and legal reasons we cannot transport hazardous materials (flammables, propane, paints, chemicals, ammunition), perishables on long-distance moves, live animals, or plants across state lines. If you are unsure about an item, ask before move day.
7. Liability and Valuation
- All moves include basic released-value protection at no additional charge, at the industry-standard rate of 60 cents per pound per article.
- Additional valuation coverage or third-party moving insurance may be available for high-value items — ask when booking. High-value items (art, antiques, pianos) should be declared in advance.
- Claims for loss or damage must be reported to us in writing. We will acknowledge and work to resolve claims promptly. Note anything of concern on the move paperwork at delivery.
- We are not liable for damage to items packed by the owner (unless the container itself is mishandled), for internal mechanical or electronic failure without external damage, or for items excluded above.
8. Delays
We plan every move carefully, but conditions outside our control (traffic, weather, building access problems) can affect timing. Arrival windows are good-faith estimates. For long-distance moves, delivery windows are stated on your confirmation.
9. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for general information. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or submit false or misleading information through our forms. All site content is owned by Relentless Moving and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of New York.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its effective date, is the one in force.
